Life After Classes - part 2

Julie arrived in Rome on April 25 to spend a low key week with me! It happened to be one of the worst weeks for the weather, but we had fun despite the never ending rain and a bit of hail.

Trent and Sarah came for a visit on that Monday and the four of us toured the historical center of Perugia a bit. The view below is usually amazing, but with the weather you just could not see as far. We then enjoyed a good lunch together for Julie's Birthday and topped it off with some amazing gelato. Even though Trent can't be truly tempted by anything but Bluebell, he did say it was good stuff.

Julie and I stayed up late and slept in almost every day of her birthday vacation. This made for a real vacation for both of us. We did get out and about for one day in Assisi and it only rained as we were leaving. Then we spent one whole day making fresh pasta, which turned out delicious!!! Leave it to Julie to spend a day of her vacation in my kitchen and love every minute of it!

The meal was delicious and of course we had way too much pasta!
